Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile said on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 that Senator Manny Villar offered him "help" in return for killing the investigation in the C-5 road scandal.
Honestly, in my opinion, it is not true that Villar offered him "help", in return for killing the investigation. Not that I'm a Manny Villar fan, it is just that we should not judge him just by what Senate President JPE said. There is still no concrete evidence that this is true. Manny Villar also stated that he did not offer "help" because he was confident that the documents, the records, the witnesses and the rules will prove that the C-5 road project was not double-funded, overpriced or rerouted. Why should he be that confident if he is guilty?
Because of this controversy, the Senate was divided and it opened old wounds. The investigation should be hastened in order for the Senate to make appropriate decisions regarding this matter.

hi classmate!!!
ReplyDeleteMe also, I agree that we don't have the right to judge Villar because we can't also assure that the people that judging him is as clean as what they think.
hi classmate!!!!!!!!!!!please feel free to visit my site and put some comment on it...thank you and god bless you always!!
I agree with your reaction. We can't hide the fact that Manny Villar has the capabilities is offering "help" to Senator Enrile, thus what Enrile said could be possible even thought Villar already denied it. And I think Villar is really guilty with the said issue. :)
ReplyDeleteTrue. We should not judge Villar, and we should not judge Senate Pres. Enrile. No one knows what is the truth and who is lying. And as much as I want to believe that everybody is innocent, I doubt Villar because he did not show up for the floor debate. Anyway, that is just my own opinion.
ReplyDeleteI also agree with your opinion. We don't know who is saying the truth in politics. Villar may be innocent or he may be guilty, we don't know. I think we should just wait. I'm sure the truth will come out in the right time.
ReplyDeleteWell, I hope the truth prevails. I'm not also a fan of Villar, but i think he's innocent...
ReplyDeleteI agree with your reaction. There is no concrete evidence in what Senate President Juan Ponce Enrile. I also agree with what Honey Gladys said, we don't know who is saying the truth in politics so we should just be patient until the truth prevails.
